Chittoor (Andhra Pradesh), Sep 05 (ANI): As the country is dipped in the festivity mood, artists round the country are showcasing their talents by coming up with different ideas of making eco-friendly idols of Lord Ganesha. A 30-feet-tall idol of Lord Ganesha has been made with 2 lakh bangles in Thummalagunta village of Andhra Pradesh’s Chittoor. After the festival, the idol won’t be immersed, instead the bangles will be distributed among women in the neighbourhood as ‘prasad’. The step has been taken to avoid water pollution.
