Likely to compete with the Ford Edge and new Chevy Blazer, the 2019 Honda Passport is a two-row, five-seat version of the Honda Pilot.
Digital Trends describes Honda's new crossover vehicle as "a rebadged version of the Isuzu Rodeo" from the 1990's, complete with standard front-wheel drive and an optional all-wheel drive.
Although the price tag on the Passport won't be available until it's release in 2019, additional details will be revealed during its debut at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show.
Some of the car's standout features include Honda Sensing bundle of driver aids like autonomous emergency braking, forward collision warning, lane departure warning and adaptive cruise control.
Honda explains that "Properly equipped front-wheel drive models can also tow up to 3,500 pounds, while all-wheel drive models can tow up to 5,000 pounds."
Digital Trends adds, "Crossovers like the Passport aren’t known for off-road prowess, but Honda claims its latest offering will perform better than most."
